Join us on 6 February as we dive into the world of open source and its advantages for ML projects.We’ll have technical talks, live demos and plenty of opportunity to network with your community while enjoying drinks, food and making the most of the games at Clays in Moorgate.
We are super excited to collaborate with HPE, merging our amazing communities for this special event.
During the event, Matt Armstrong-Barnes, Chief Technologist in AI at HPE, will talk about the advantage of open source. He will give an introduction to the benefits of leveraging open source, its role in the explosion of AI & ML in recent years and some common challenges faced in industry.
Afterwards, you will be given a short introduction of the Merantix AI Campus, the largest AI community and eco-system in Europe.
Linda Jian, Founder and CEO of Neurowave, will then take over the stage to share her journey through entrepreneurship and building start-ups, as well as global leading companies such as Alibaba or Samsung. She will show you how Neurowave, her newest business, revolutionizes LLMs product testing.
The discussion will then open to everyone with a Q&A, followed by networking drinks and games!

🎤 Matt Armstrong-Barnes is a seasoned technology leader, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer for Artificial Intelligence at HPE. With a rich background as a Global Account CTO, he excels in driving strategic engagements and developing multimillion-pound portfolios. As the chair of the Smart Cities initiative at techUK, Matt is dedicated to fostering innovation and growth opportunities.
🎤 Linda Jian, Founder and CEO of Neurowave, is an entrepreneur, advisor and mentor. She has built and led innovative operations at successful tech startups and global companies including Alibaba and Samsung. With her strategy, business development and product management expertises, she drove the growth of Umeng which become the largest mobile analytics platform in the country and acquired by Alibaba. She co-founded Comet Labs, an AI & Robotic accelerator in San Francisco and Beijing and worked with startups on a number of projects using AI, Blockchain to solve business problems from retail to construction.
